Celebrating 18 years of “Sweetening Kids Lives,” Youth on the Ridge Community Foundation will present the Paradise Chocolate Fest on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 13, 2023 at beautiful Terry Ashe Park on the Skyway in Paradise. Chocolate Candy Land Dip into decadence at the huge chocolate fountain Visit chocolatier booths featuring countless artisanal delicacies, desserts, confections Scrumptious ice cream for sale Musical Concerts on 2 stages Art in the Park • All About Books • Green Scene Outdoor Classroom • Playhouse Build & Raffle Community exhibits • craft and commercial booths • wide range of packaged and food-truck delicacies. For the Kids: Kidz-Zone with giant inflatables, Lego building, carnival games, costumed characters, art and craft projects, contests, and much more! Special events throughout the day: Chocolate Chase 5K Run Chocolate Cuisine Challenge Chocolate Pie and Super Sensational Ice Cream Sundae Eating Contests Cookie Stacking Contest Butte County Young Authors Writing Contest Chocolate, Wine & Beer Garden - Guittard Chocolate tastings and the North Valley’s premiere wine and craft beer selections A complete event schedule will be announced February 1st. The Paradise Chocolate Fest delivers vital support to non-profit organizations that provide educational, enrichment, recreational and leadership opportunities to youth on the Paradise Ridge. Since its inception in 2006, Paradise Chocolate Fest has contributed over $380,000.00 to Ridge youth programs and services supporting everything from scholarships to upgraded computers, sports uniforms, musical instruments, summer camp, swim & dance lessons, leadership programs, vision screening, food banks and more. Funds ultimately impact the lives of thousands of youth, their families and our community.
