Trauma-Informed Fire Education & Journaling Workshop
Workshop Details:
An interactive workshop to integrate trauma-informed perspectives into field and nature journaling practices (writing, sketching, field notes) that will be used to build awareness and understanding of fire on the landscape (prescribed fire and wildfire awareness and action). Brought to you by Butte County Fire Safe Council, Pyrosketchology (Miriam Morrill), Paradise Recreation and Parks District (Scott Amick), and John Muir Laws. Event Timing:
March 23rd (9am-10:30am PST), 24th (9am-10:30am PST), 25th (3pm-4:30pm PST), 2021 Zoom Interactive Workshop- Session information will be emailed to selected participants. Registration form required by February 26, 2021.
Up to 100 participants will be selected to create an interactive learning environment with mixed knowledge, skills, and abilities.
