Paradise Lake is in Magalia, California and is 204 water acres and has a 4.5 mile hiking / biking trail. It is open year-round depending on access and is closed on Wednesdays for maintenance. Reservations are available at Paradise Lake for group picnics or larger events.

The lake is/was owned and maintained by the Paradise Irrigation District (PID) from inception until 2020. After the Camp Fire, PID and the Paradise Recreation and Park District (PRPD) came to an agreement for recreation management at the lake. PRPD took over recreation activities in 2020. Portions of the picnic areas and the hiking trail are on Lassen National Forest land.
Hiking / biking trail, boat ramps for non-gas motors, picnic areas, seasonal kayak rentals, wildlife viewing, fishing access, kids playground, reservable small gazebo and group picnic area, and restrooms (both at the picnic area and in multiple places along the trail)
