Cascade and Sierra Foothills Trails

Coming Soon!

Paradise Recreation and Park District is excited to announce that we have been awarded grant funding to build a 20-mile loop trail.  All you hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts prepare for new adventures on the Upper Ridge.  The trail will begin at Lakeridge Park in Magalia, run up to Paradise Lake (Magalia), over to Coutolenc Park (Magalia) and the West Branch of the Feather River, and back down to the Magalia Reservoir.

If you're a nut for exploring the incredible beauty at the intersection of the Cascade and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges on foot or bike like we are, access is on the way!  We are actively looking for community input on trail routes, local feature monikers, challenge features, and more.  We will also be seeking volunteer help from the community so we can get these trails built with thought, careful planning, and speed.  If you're interested in volunteering check out our volunteer page:  https://www.paradiseprpd.com/volunteer-with-paradise-recreation-park-district

Our trails program is growing and we will be adding content to this page in the near future, so please check in regularly for more content
