NOTICE OF VACANCY ON BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND INTENT TO FILL BY APPOINTMENT 

Take notice that a vacancy on the Board of Directors of the Paradise Recreation and Park District has occurred due to the resignation of Director Mary Bellefeuille.  The Board of Directors intends to fill the position of Director Bellefeuille by appointment.  The individual appointed to fill the position shall serve in office until the General District Election, in November of 2026.  At that time, the position will be open for election to a full, four (4) years. 

Persons interested in being considered for the appointment should submit their name and contact information using the form below to the District office no later noon (12:00pm) on October 10, 2025.  Persons eligible for membership on the Board of Directors must be registered voters in Butte County and residents of the District.  Please contact the District office if you have any questions with respect to the requirements for membership on the Board of Directors. 

The Board intends to interview applicants and fill the vacancy by appointment at a Special Board of Directors meeting to be held on October 21, 2025 at 5:30pm.  The Board reserves the right to postpone the selection of an applicant to a later date at a scheduled special meeting.
