Drone Camp

Does your teenager show interest in a career in flying drones? Whether they are interested in aerial photography, law enforcement, land mapping, or simply think that Drones are cool, our camp collaboration with the Butte County Office of Education and Rebuilding Paradise’s drone captain, Charles Brooks, will sure to excite your teenager. Your teen will learn the basics of drone flying while integrating technology and practical career path skills curriculum. Culminating in a flight that will be used to help rebuild recreation spaces on the Ridge, this camp will help your student’s career aspirations take flight!

Dates:  July 12, 13, 14, 15 from 9 am to 12:00pm    

Location: Terry Ashe Recreation Center take PRPD vans to sites.  

Ages:  12 – 19 years Fee: $150 

Free to Camp Fire Survivors through Voucher Program (Reimbursement) Limit 10 participants
