Rental Insurance Requirements

As of January 1st, 2024, all reservations for the group picnic areas, pavilion, ball fields, pool, and indoor facilities require event insurance. 

This MUST include:  

  1. Certificate of Insurance

          2. Additionally insured which we need it read: 

  • Paradise Recreation & Park District, Its Directors, Officers, Agents, Volunteers, and Employees, 6626 Skyway, Paradise, CA 95969

          3. Subrogation or Waiver of Rights (See language below)

  • "Contractor hereby grants to Entity a waiver of any right to subrogation which any insurer of said Contractor may acquire against the Entity by virtue of the payment of any loss under such insurance. Contractor agrees to obtain any endorsement that may be necessary to affect this waiver of subrogation. This is a required document for all reservations."

          4. Primary & Non Contributory- Other Insurance Conditions  We do not need the Whole Policy.


Please do not send us any insurance documents until you have the following:

  1. Certificate of Insurance
  2. Subrogation or Waiver of Rights
  3. Additionally Insured
  4. Primary & Non-Contributory
  5. CAPRI insurance requirements initialed.  (See attached document)
