This scholarship program is for first time swimmers through Butte County and is free (Parent/Tot or Level 1 Lessons).  We live in an area of streams, rivers, lakes, and backyard pools and the more children we can teach water safety the less chance they will have of drowning, so please consider donating to this scholarship program. The scholarship program will be open and available to any District resident on a first come, first serve basis pending funding availability and the number of classes offered. Scholarships will be made available in the spring registration period. Classes will be group lessons and a child must meet minimum qualifications to enroll..
