Moore Road Park has been an important part of outdoor recreational for residents of our Ridge community for generations. Current and former residents of all ages in the District most likely have memories of playing in this park for little league, softball, flag football, the Paradise Horseman's Association horse arena, the Odysee Teams' ropes course, or the Lezlie Morrow Memorial Dog Park. The Camp Fire destroyed the playground, numerous trees, and the ropes course, but PRPD plans to build back even better.
Our Maintenance staff worked diligently to get the baseball field back to beautiful condition, and we plan to install new lights at the softball field so it can also be used again. We are planning to make improvements to the road, parking areas, restrooms, and playgound, as well as reforest areas of the park that lost a lot of trees. Below are some conceptual designs and photo boards that may help spur your imagination for the ballpark area.
The conceptual design and photo board are focused on the ballpark area of Moore Road Park.
