Fishing Instruction 

May contain: fishing, leisure activities, outdoors, water, adult, male, man, person, rock, angler, clothing, and pants

In this beginning level fishing instruction class, students will learn the basic fundamentals of freshwater fishing. Topics will include equiptment, knots and rigging, casting, hooking and landing fish, cleaning fish, bait fishing, using artifical lures, and rules and ethics. 

This class will include classroom sessions along with a trip to Paradise Lake. Students can bring their own rod and reel, but they can also be loaned out if needed. 

The first two Saturdays will be in class instruction, held at the Terry Ashe Recreation Center, and the third Saturday will be held at Paradise Lake.

Dates: 2 Saturdays at 9:00am-11:00am (Terry Ashe Recreation Center) &  Third Saturday at 8:00am-11:00am (Paradise Lake)

Session: June 3, 10, & 17, 2023

Ages: 8-13yrs
