Youth Programs
For safety purposes, unless otherwise stated, the following classes are for the registered participants only. We ask you to leave your child in our care during class and to pick them up promptly when class is over. If minimum registration has not been met by 8 a.m. the first day of a session, the class may be cancelled.
Adventures in Art
This is an ongoing class designed for children ages 7-12. Art activities are provided and designed according to students’ interests and talents. Students are encouraged to explore their own creative strengths and talents along with learning basic art principles and techniques. Supply list given upon registration.

Beginning Hip Hop Dance
Learn the latest street and music video styles in this upbeat and energetic class. All music and movements are age appropriate.

Beginning Tap
Create your own music as you dance! Learn basic rhythms, steps, combinations and fun routines!! (students should wear black leotard and pink tights with optional dance skirt. Boys should wear white top and black pants. Tap shoes required and may be purchased at KAD)

Creative Writing
Explore your creative side in story telling, script writing, and poetry. Each student will have the opportunity to recite their finished work before an audience of their peers.

Spring Break Camp
Come to the Terry Ashe Recreation Center for spring break days filled with arts and crafts, organized games, friendship and fun. Bring your lunch and a snack, we’ll provide the activities. Space is limited for this program, so sign up early.
