GOLD COUNTRY DAFFODIL HILL

With pine trees, an old barn, wagon wheels, rusting mining equipment and farming tools, Daffodil Hill appeals to anyone with a love of nature. Although nature sets the bloom schedule, Daffodil Hill can be a showcase of more than 3000,000 daffodils. Participants will visit California’s Gold Country with a tour of Sutter Creek Gold Mine, Daffodil Hill, a self-guided tour of Amador County Museum and a stop in Jackson to shop. No host lunch.

TURTLE BAY EXPLORATORIUM & THE SUNDIAL BRIDGE

Turtle Bay Exploratorium Park is a sprawling 300-acre campus filled with educational and entertaining activities for everyone. This park spans the Sacramento river and is linked by the Sundial Bridge, an architectural work of art. In March, the Exploratorium halls will feature two exhibits: “Picasso, 25 years of Edition Ceramics” and “In the Dark”. No host lunch.
