Tae Kwon Do
Do developing power, speed, focus, balance, and control
through basics, forms, non-contact sparring, and other drills.
Tae Kwon Do is a great overall workout developing strength,
flexibility, and cardiovascular conditioning. Instructor Ed
Van Hove is a 4th Degree Black Belt and Instructor Margaret
Van Hove is a 1st Degree Black Belt in the World Tae Kwon
Do Association. The class is open to anyone ages 8 and up.

Tai Chi
The ancient art of Tai Chi is a way of life that improves body
awareness, sensitivity, balance, posture and the sense of well-being.
Mindfulness and body awareness are the fundamentals
of Tai Chi dance. Students will learn the Yang short form,
Qigong, standing meditation, walking meditation and push
hands. Using breath, sensitivity and intent to cultivate Chi (life
force energy) for health and longevity. The instructor is a devoted
Tai Chi practitioner. He has studied with many qualified
teachers and is currently a student of Grand Master Sam Tam
from British Columbia.

Beginning Yoga
Instruction in beginning Hatha Yoga will include a combination
of gentle and moderately challenging poses, designed to make
the body more flexible and strong. Each class will have you
feeling more refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated! Everyone
benefits from the rewards Hatha Yoga has to offer including
greater flexibility, improved health, strength and peace of mind.
The instructor has been practicing for over twenty years and for
the last two years has been teaching at a local fitness club. As
a long-time practitioner of meditation, and as a Reiki Master,
the instructor creates and instills a meditative atmosphere into
her classes promoting greater stress reduction. Students need
to bring a yoga mat and blanket to class. A yoga strap is also
recommended.

Thereapeutic Yoga
(Beginners through Intermediate)
Therapeutic Yoga is particularly recommended for students
with low back, neck, hip or knee “challenges”. The instructor
will coach you in correct alignment in each Asana (pose) and
accompanying Pranayama (breath). Meditational Centering,
excellent warm-ups, and careful guidance will help you avoid
injuries. You will then be challenged with some Flow Yoga and
end with Centering. YOU are the only person in the class and
yet part of the WHOLE. “In JOY in myself” – Eckhardt Tolle. Bring
a Yoga Sticky Mat, firm twin size blanket, large towel and water
bottle. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing. For questions call
